Boarding and Return
Times
Check out time for all departing houseboats are between 3 pm
and 6 pm and will depart on a first come/first serve basis.
This also depends on boat size/readiness. Renters must supply
a valid driver’s license and be 21 years of age for boat
rental. If another member of your party is picking up the
rental boat, that person must provide written permission from
the contract holder.
All boats
must be checked-in by
9 a.m.
on the return date. Failure to return the boat at the
required time will result in a
$100 an hour late charge being
charged to the contract holder. (Late returns delay our next
guest’s departure; therefore this policy will be strictly
enforced). An additional $100 charge will be assessed for
boats returned in an unclean condition. Maximum occupancies
of the houseboats are 52’ Standard – 13, 54’ Luxury – 12,
and 59’ Luxury – 15.
These maximum occupancies are strictly
enforced, and any violation of this policy will result in an
immediate forfeiture of the security deposit, and may result
in termination of the rest of your trip. Small boats rented on
a daily basis are checked out at 8 am, or after with a
check-in time of 5 p.m./or 1 hour before closing, whichever is
later.
Deposits
The required rental deposits are confirming/damage deposits.
They do not apply toward rental fees, and are due in our
Reservations Office within 10 days from booking reservation.
If
the deposit is not received within these 10 days, the
reservation will be cancelled. Upon your arrival, the
confirmation deposit will convert to a damage deposit. The
damage deposits are fully refundable when the boat is
checked-in on time, and in the same condition as when
checked-out. Deposits are as follows $500 – Luxury, $300 –
Standard, $275 – Ski Boat, $40 – Fishing Boats.

depending on special circumstances such as specials,
promotions. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Methods of payment will be Visa, MasterCard or cash.

is given for the check to clear the bank before your trip

Cancellation Policy
The reservation deposit/prepayment is refundable less a $150
handling fee if the reservation is cancelled 60 or more prior
to the checkout date. If the cancellation occurs less than 60
but more than 30 days prior to the check out date, the deposit
and ˝ of the total rental fee will be forfeited.
Reservations cancelled within 30 days of the checkout date,
the deposit and the rental fee will be forfeited. FAILURE TO
MAKE FULL PAYMENT 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CHECK-OUT DATE will
automatically cancel the reservation, and the entire deposit
will be forfeited. All cancellations with refunds due, must be
requested in writing and should be mailed by return/receipt
through the USPS. If the request is not mailed with
return/receipt we will use the post-marked date on the letter
as the date of request. If you have multiple reservations, and
wish to cancel part of them, payments will not be credited
from one reservation to the others, and the cancellation
policy will be followed. ** If you wish to change the dates of
your reservation, there is a $50 charge for each change of
each reservation. Management must approve any consideration
of policy change, and the authorization must be noted in our
reservation system, or our reservation staff cannot implement
it.
Reservations made through specials, promotions are subject to
a more stringent cancellation policy, and will not be refunded
under most circumstances.
